The Ministry of Justice recognized the singer Monetochka (Elizaveta Girdymova) as a foreign agent, the registry of the department testifies.
In addition to her , on January 20 , the list of foreign agents included:
- founder Gulagu.net Vladimir Osechkin;
- Moscow City Duma deputy, member of the Yabloko faction Daria Besedina;
- blogger Vadim Kharchenko;
- activist Ibrahim Yaganov;
- blogger Anton Ustimov (Pikuli);
- project for transgender people and their loved ones «T9 NSK».
Last May, Monetochka announced that she had left Russia for Lithuania. The main reason for emigration, the artist called the desire to “feel freedom in their statements”. She also added that event organizers and partners stopped working with her in Russia. Osechkin told RBC that he has been living outside of Russia for more than seven years and does not intend to label his messages with a “foreign agency” warning.
“Over the past few months, I’ve been telling friends: tell me where to write an application so that I can also be included in this register? And finally turned on the good news.
