MForeign Defense: Russian forces took control of the village of Nikolaevka in the DPR, the founder of the Wagner PMCs, Yevgeny Prigozhin, reported on the occupation of this settlement in the middle of last week
The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov announced the occupation of the settlement of Nikolaevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to him, volunteers of assault detachments with the support of rocket troops and artillery of the Southern Group of troops acted in this direction.
The Defense Ministry noted that over the past day up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored fighting vehicles and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in the Donetsk direction.
Yevgeny Prigozhin reported that the units of the PMCs “Wagner” occupied Nikolaevka on February 2. Later, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the fighting was taking place in the area of Razdolovka, located north of this settlement.
The military department also told about strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Gryanikovka, Sinkovka, Timkovka, Starch (Kharkiv region), Novoselovskoye, Stelmakhovka (LNR), Novosadovoye, Yampolovka, Ugledar (DNR), Novodarovka (Zaporozhye region).
Among the destroyed military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summary of the Ministry of Defense mentioned, among others, two MLRS combat vehicles “Grad”, a self-propelled gun “Nona S”, a self-propelled howitzer “Acacia”, a radar station of counter-battery warfare manufactured by the USA AN/TPQ-36.

In the area of Constantinople (DPR), a warehouse with artillery ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a fuel storage for military equipment were destroyed. In the area of the settlement of Veliky Burluk (Kharkiv region), a multi-channel radar guidance station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed.
