Earlier, the state agency “RIA Novosti” with reference to “credible sources from different countries” wrote about the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provocation on Ukrainian territory with the use of “dirty bomb”.
“The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction in the Ukrainian theater of operations, and thereby launch a powerful anti-Russian campaign in the world aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow,” the publication wrote.
Official Kiev did not comment on these reports.
The detonation of a dirty bomb is one of the types of attack using radioactive material, for example, the deliberate detonation of a non-military installation.
