Ukrainian forces are using chemical compounds in the Artemivsk and Uledar directions, they are being dropped from drones, Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the DPR, said on the air of Russia 24.
“This is not only in the Artemovsky, but also in the Ugledar direction, there are facts of the use of chemical compounds that cause malaise in our servicemen. In fact, these appeals have already been coming to my address for at least three weeks,” said Pushilin.
According to him, while there is no opportunity to study what the APU uses. “They are dropped from drones according to the locations of our units. Causes a cough, then it’s tearfulness and general malaise, these are the characteristics,” he added.
Earlier, the use of chemical weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was reported to TASS by Pushilin’s adviser, military-political expert Yan Gagin. He said that reports of this were received in different sectors of the front, mainly on Soledarsky and Artemovsky. According to him, some fighters had nausea, vomiting, severe dizziness.
He also claimed that these are not the first facts of the use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian side. “This, in general, was all along the front line, when substances were sprayed from industrial copters from special containers that caused nausea, suffocation and cough,” Gagin explained.
Pushilin said the day before that Russian troops were approaching Ugledar from the south and west, and dachas around the city were under the control of Russian forces. The adviser to the acting head of the DPR, Igor Kimakovsky, announced the capture of the city in a semicircle. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky spoke about the fierce fighting in the Donbass.
