In the Irkutsk region stated that the limited fit are subject to mobilization

Russians who are only partially fit for military service are subject to partial mobilization, however, they will be called up last. This was stated at a press conference by Military commissar of the Irkutsk region Yevgeny Fuzhenko, Ircity reports.

We are talking about those who have a category “In”. These are those who did not serve in the army because of health problems.

But first of all, according to Fuzhenko, citizens who correspond to the first and second category will be mobilized. Among them are soldiers, sailors, sergeants, ensigns and midshipmen up to 35 years old, junior officers up to 50 years old, majors, lieutenant colonels up to 55 years old, colonels up to 60 years old and senior officers up to 65 years old.

The fact that those who are exempt from military service for health reasons (categories “B”, “D”), according to the law, can be mobilized and called up in the second place, lawyers explained earlier to RBC. At the same time, the secretary of the Human Rights Council, Alexander Tochenov, said that citizens recognized as being of limited use would not be called up.

Partial mobilization in Russia has been announced since September 21. The Ministry of Defense intends to call 300 thousand reservists, said the head of the department Sergei Shoigu.

The list of diagnoses that may become grounds for exemption from service is listed in the “Schedule of Diseases” in accordance with the categories of validity. At the same time, after the start of mobilization, the Federation Council proposed to exclude some of the diseases from there. As Senator Olga Kovitidi reminded, now conscripts who have flat feet and scoliosis of some degrees are not accepted into the army. “Now Russia needs not only a volunteer professional army, but an increase in the reserve of young people fit for service,” she said.
