The meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, may take place in the coming days, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said. His words are quoted by the website of the Turkish department.
“We hope that, despite some difficulties, in the coming days, perhaps, with the proposals of our president, the two leaders will be able to come together,” the minister said.
According to Akar, Turkey continues to contribute to the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, including making mediation efforts so that the humanitarian situation does not worsen and a ceasefire is reached as soon as possible.
