Lavrov recalled that the deal on the export of Ukrainian grain was a package and the second part concerned the export of Russian fertilizers, but it is practically not being implemented.
“Three months have passed since the conclusion of the agreements in Istanbul. The UN secretariat has pledged to solve all the problems that are created by Western sanctions <...>. On Friday, a representative of the UN secretariat said that the UN is working tirelessly to remove these restrictions,” the minister noted. He stressed that with regard to fertilizers, clear legal exceptions are needed “to meet the needs of our counterparties”.
