The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of the headquarters of the Ukrainian extremist organization “Right Sector” (the organization is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia). As stated in the message of the defense department, the headquarters was located in the city of Novogrodovka in the Donetsk region.
“Four control points, an ammunition depot in the Slavyansk area of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the headquarters of the terrorist group “Right Sector” in Novogrodovka, as well as 16 strong points and places of concentration of manpower and military equipment”were destroyed,” the report says.

The Ministry of Defense also announced the continuation of a special operation and strikes with precision air-launched missiles at 27 military facilities of Ukraine. With high-precision long-range weapons, the Russian military destroyed six traction substations (electrical substations used for power supply of electric locomotives and electric trains) at the railway stations Krasnoe, Zdolbunov, Zhmerinka, Berdichev, Kovel and Korosten. The strikes on them were inflicted due to the fact that, according to the Ministry of Defense, the supply of foreign weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian group of troops in the Donbas is carried out through these stations.
Operational-tactical and army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck 82 military facilities of Ukraine, including four command posts, 76 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, as well as two fuel depots.

The missile forces carried out 15 strikes on the territory of Ukraine and, according to the Ministry of Defense, hit the starting position of the tactical missile system “Point-U”, three control points, an artillery battery and ten areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment. “Up to 40 personnel and 17 armored vehicles and vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed,” the report says.
The Defense Ministry also reported that the air defense forces shot down four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the districts of the cities of Izyum, Donetsk and Kharkiv during the day.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, they have been destroyed, according to the Russian Defense Ministry:
- 141 aircraft,
- 110 helicopters,
- 570 drones,
- 265 anti-aircraft missile systems,
- 2554 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles,
- 283 multiple rocket launchers,
- 1104 field artillery and mortar guns,
- 2380 units of special military vehicles.
Earlier, on April 11, the Russian military reported the destruction of one of the leaders of the “Right Sector” Taras Bobanich. He was killed by soldiers of the Russian special forces group 5 km south of the city of Izyum. The Defense Ministry claims that Bobanich personally gave orders for artillery shelling of residential areas of Donetsk and Lugansk from heavy weapons. Also known as Hammer, Bobanich was the deputy commander of the volunteer corps of the Right Sector and chairman of the Lviv regional branch of the organization, the defense ministry reported.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported generalized data on losses during the special operation only twice on March 2 and March 25. According to the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Sergei Rudskoy, as of March 25, 1,351 Russian servicemen were killed in Ukraine and 3,825 wounded.
