The settlement of Nehoteyevka in the Belgorod region was shelled from Ukraine, the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in Telegram.
“There was shelling from the Ukrainian side of Nehoteevka. There are damaged residential buildings and personal transport. There are no casualties among civilians,” the governor wrote.
On the border with the Kharkiv region there are two Nehoteyevka farms in the Belgorod region, there is a border checkpoint of the same name, as well as a village in the Shebekinsky district. Gladkov did not specify which locality he was talking about.
Later, the governor added that four houses and one car were damaged.
The day before, on April 24, another Belgorod village, Otradnoye, was shelled. The authorities of the Belgorod region reported that the shell fell in a field, far from buildings. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, there was no destruction as a result of the shelling. On April 19, three people were injured during the shelling of another village, Golovchino, Governor Gladkov said.
On April 25, he announced that the yellow terrorist danger level, which was introduced on April 11, would be extended in the region. It will be valid until May 10. A similar decision was made by the head of the neighboring Kursk region, Roman Starovoit: the regime will operate there until May 11 due to the continued risk of “possible provocations by Ukrainian nationalists”.
