On July 30, the Telegram channel Mash published a video in which a woman quarrels with hotel staff. The authors of the channel clarified that the hotel is located in Murmansk, and the guest is a diplomat Elisabeth Ellingsen. The conflict, according to Mash, occurred due to the managers’ request to wait until the maids finish cleaning. The Norwegian Foreign Ministry soon said that it deeply regretted what had happened and stressed that the feelings expressed in no way reflect Norwegian politics or the attitude of Norwegians towards Russia and the Russian people.
