Two unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed at sea at a great distance from Sevastopol, the press service of the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev reported.
“The governor did not publish this information at home, since the military worked normally, none of the residents of Sevastopol even heard any sounds accompanying this work,” the message says (quoted by RIA Novosti).
The press service stressed that the governor reports on the actions of the military if the work of the air defense worries people and this requires clarification.
Since the summer, Sevastopol has been repeatedly attacked by drones. One of the largest was the attack on October 29 on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships. The Russian Defense Ministry indicated that Kiev organized the attack with the help of British specialists. Then Moscow temporarily suspended its participation in the Black Sea grain deal.
Razvozhaev on November 22 reported an attack by drones on the Balaklava thermal power plant. Russian air defense systems managed to shoot down two drones. The fleet also repelled the attacks of three more UAVs over the water area.
According to the head of the city, the strike on the Balaklava thermal power plant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wanted to “coincide” with the seventh anniversary of a large-scale blackout in Crimea, which occurred due to the undermining of power transmission lines (power lines) on the territory of Ukraine.

The next day, on November 23, air defense systems again shot down five drones near Sevastopol and gas condensate fields in the Black Sea.
