Since then, the restriction has been extended weekly, most recently on October 20.
Due to restrictions on flights to southern airports, Russian Railways sent 144 additional trains towards Adler, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Sochi and other southern cities of Russia and increased the number of seats in the trains. Restrictions on flights also allowed expanding the subsidized transportation program: Rosaviation reported that it was able to include 49 new destinations bypassing Moscow. Additional subsidy agreements have been concluded with 15 air carriers, including Aeroflot and UTair.
