The Ukrainian military shelled the city of Pologi in the Zaporozhye region, as a result, four people were killed, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, reports on the telegram channel.
“The arrival of several rockets into the grocery store and the administration building. At the moment, it is known about the deaths of four civilians and five others who were seriously injured,” he wrote.
In another post, Rogov pointed out that the city center and a residential area were under attack, the shelling was carried out “from heavy weapons”.
The canopies are located near the line dividing the territory of the Zaporozhye region into parts controlled by Russia and Ukraine. From the capital of the region, Zaporozhye (under the control of Kiev), to the Canopies – about 90 km to the southeast.
On the morning of January 14, as reported by RIA Novosti and TASS with reference to a representative of law enforcement agencies, Russian air defense forces shot down several missiles in the area of Melitopol, which is now the capital of the Zaporozhye region. They were released by the APU “in a direction where there are no military facilities,” the agencies said.
Air defense systems also worked in Berdyansk, two long-range missiles were destroyed, the city administration reported. Unexploded parts of the shells fell in the city and damaged the power line, road surface and windows of nearby houses.

In January, the Canopies were already shelled, according to Rogov, last time there were three arrivals. At the end of December, a pedestrian bridge over the Konka River was blown up in the city, Rogov pointed out.
