When the operational situation allows, we will deliver the residents back,” Gladkov promised.

What decisions were made at the meeting of the regional operations staff:
- The region will strengthen the protection of energy, communications, utilities and other “particularly important objects”,
- Universities are recommended a remote learning format, and school holidays are extended for another week.
- After the end of the holidays until December, colleges and schools in Belgorod, Yakovlevsky City District and nine border municipalities will be taught remotely.
- In kindergartens in these areas, duty groups will work.
- The owners of enterprises in Belgorod and the border territories are recommended to approve flexible work schedules and explore the possibility of transferring to remote work, if the company’s activities allow it.
“Additional decisions from the closed part of the meeting of the Operational Headquarters will also entail strengthening measures to ensure the safety of residents of the region, as well as the safety of property,” Gladkov added.
