Minust has published a unified register of foreign agents The list includes 493 organizations and individuals, including those who were previously excluded from the register of foreign agents
The Ministry of Justice has published a single list of foreign agents. State agencies refer to the department ‘s document in the format .pdf, which contains a list of persons and organizations previously recognized as foreign agents.
At the same time, there are persons in the list who were previously excluded from the register. The document itself is not titled in any way. The link to it shows the date— December 1, 2022. The list contains a total of 493 organizations and individuals.
Opposite the names of organizations in the list are their TIN and OGRN (the main state registration number), and the individual is mentioned with the date of birth.
In July, President Vladimir Putin signed a law “On the control of the activities of persons under foreign influence”. On December 1, the document entered into force. In accordance with it, those who receive “support from abroad” or are under “foreign influence” can now be recognized as foreign agents without foreign funding.
The unified register of foreign agents should replace four separate ones, which were previously maintained by the Ministry of Justice, for NGOs, individuals, physical media and unregistered public associations.
On December 1, a government decree also came into force, which provides for the publication in the register of foreign agents of personal data of individuals who were included there, including full name, date of birth, INN and SNILS (if available). The information about legal entities will indicate the INN and OGRN.
