Ukrainian troops fired six missiles from MLRS “Grad” at the central Voroshilovsky and Kiev districts of Donetsk. This is reported by the representative office of the DPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
“An attack was recorded from the VFU in the direction of: 5:59a.m. the settlement of Tonenkoe, the city of Donetsk (Voroshilovsky, Kievsky districts): Six BM-21 Grad missiles were fired.
As a result, the territory of the Victoria Hotel in the Kiev district of Donetsk, as well as three residential buildings in the Voroshilov district, came under fire, RIA Novosti reports.
On the eve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired ten missiles from MLRS “Grad” at Voroshilovsky and Kiev districts of Donetsk, as well as five 155mm shells at Kirovsky and Leninsky districts of the city.
According to the Mayor of Donetsk Alexey Kulemzin, the city was subjected to the most massive shelling on December 15. The APU fired 40 missiles from BM-21 multiple rocket launchers “Grad”. The square of the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Avenue and Universitetskaya Street, Shkolny Boulevard, Embankment Street, the area of the covered market was under fire.

Kulemzin clarified that five people were injured during the shelling, including including a child born in 2012.
The acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin estimated the damage from the destruction of housing since 2014 at more than 1.3 trillion rubles. He recalled that in addition, enterprises and critical infrastructure facilities were destroyed.
