Russian and Chechen servicemen will “take away” Poland and Romania if these countries “do not understand” Moscow’s aspirations, said the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, speaking at the Russian University of Special Forces in the republic, Kadyrov published a video message on Telegram.

“Let’s take Warsaw, Poland, Romania. <...> The bigger the country, the more interesting it is. <..."We will dictate our rules," Kadyrov said.

According to the head of Chechnya, Russia must protect not only its territory, but also neighboring countries, as well as the whole world, so that citizens can safely raise children and build families.

Poland and Romania (both countries are members of the EU and NATO) provide Ukraine with military and other assistance. The Russian Defense Ministry claims that Polish mercenaries are fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Romanian authorities proposed to increase the NATO contingent in the country.

In mid-April, Kadyrov said that Russian troops were going to launch an offensive wave on all cities of Ukraine and called the purpose of the special operation to liberate them from the Nazis and Bandera. Russian President Vladimir Putin said yesterday that the ultimate goals of the special operation are the liberation of Donbass and obtaining security guarantees for Russia itself. Even before the start of the special operation, the head of state stressed that he did not intend to restore Russia within the borders of the empire.
