In addition, ten consolidated detachments have been formed from among the Russian military in Syria, which will be engaged in dismantling the rubble and providing assistance to the wounded in the most affected areas of the country.

“As part of the assistance provided by the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties, six points for the delivery of humanitarian aid to victims of food packages and basic necessities have been promptly deployed and started working in the cities of Aleppo, Hama, Latakia and the settlements of Jebla, Stamu and Bustan al-Basha.” the message says.

According to the latest data, the number of victims of the earthquake in Syria has reached 430. More than 1.5 thousand people were killed in Turkey.

The earthquake was centered in the south-east of Turkey, its magnitude was 7.7. The first tremors occurred on the night of February 6, in the afternoon they were repeated. For Turkey, the earthquake was the strongest since 1939. The tremors were also felt in neighboring countries, including Georgia, Armenia, and Iraq. Vladimir Putin has already ordered to send specialists of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to help in the affected areas of Turkey and Syria.
