30 people were brought to administrative responsibility for participating in an unauthorized protest rally on September 20 in Moscow, according to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the capital.

They were punished in accordance with Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code (violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding an action). The Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed that “the complex of measures aimed at establishing the identities of the participants continues”.

At the same time, the police reminded that both participation in unauthorized actions and calls for their holding are punishable, and noted that calls for such events in Moscow are now spreading on the Network.

“Attempts to hold an uncoordinated public event, as well as any provocative actions on the part of their participants, will be regarded as a threat to public order and will be immediately stopped,” the Interior Ministry said.

The action on September 20 was held on the day of the announcement of the election results on Pushkin Square. The deputy of the State Duma and the leader of the capital’s communists, Valery Rashkin, organized it in the format of a meeting with deputies. The action was refused to be coordinated due to restrictions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.

On September 23, the police detained Sergey Vlasov, a municipal deputy of the Pechatniki district, who took part in an uncoordinated action. On the same day, several other participants of the rally were detained-former candidate for the State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergey Kurgansky, activists Alexander Bogomolov and Artem Bobrikov. Ksenia Bezdenezhnykh, an activist and former candidate for deputy in the Preobrazhensky District of Moscow (No. 205), and Mark Frangulyan, a participant in the action, were visited by district police officers.

On Friday, September 24, Roskomnadzor sent a notification to the editorial office of the Communist Party website about a possible block in connection with the placement of announcements of uncoordinated shares. “The party resource was required to immediately delete a publication containing calls for the participation of citizens.”..”gt; in an uncoordinated mass event of a protest nature,” the editorial board of the site reported. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation announced an event following the election results in the format of a meeting with deputies, as well as the last action.
