Remployers must notify conscripts of summonses and “strictly and immediately” hand them over; employment contracts with the mobilized will not be terminated, but suspended
Partial mobilization has been underway in Russia since September 21. According to the order of the metropolitan military commissariat, all officers, ensigns, midshipmen, sergeants, petty officers, soldiers and reserve sailors who have received summonses need to appear at the military enlistment office with documents and personal belongings. The Moscow authorities decided “for the convenience of residents” to open temporary mobilization points in the Museum of Moscow, the Darwin Museum, the Viktyuk Theater and the Museum of Heroes of Russia and the Soviet Union.
On the evening of September 22, the government approved a decree on the preservation of jobs for the mobilized. Employment contracts with them will be suspended, but not terminated, the mobilized will be able to return to their former place of work later.
