PUS companies owned by the former Republican candidate reported on “italiyagate” — the use of satellites by an Italian company and the CIA to rewrite votes in favor of Biden in the November 2020 elections
Two companies from the US state of Virginia in late 2020 and early 2021 were engaged in spreading a conspiracy theory about foreign interference in the US presidential election. This is reported by The Washington Post with reference to congressional documents.
According to the newspaper, at the end of December last year, former President Donald Trump demanded that his associates and senior White House officials find evidence of election fraud. After that, the head of the presidential administration, Mark Meadows, sent acting US Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen information about the so-called italiyagate.
The conspiracy theory was that an Italian military contractor colluded with senior CIA officials and used military satellites to steal votes from Trump and redirect them in favor of Joe Biden.
The letter outlining this theory was printed on the letterhead of USAerospace Partners, a Virginia-based company. In January 2021, another organization from this state, the Institute for Good Governance, published a press release in which an Italian prosecutor allegedly confirms the existence of a hacker who confessed to plotting against Trump.
According to WP, both companies are owned by Michelle Roosevelt Edwards, a former Republican congressional candidate. Edwards previously went by the name Michelle Ballarin, but changed it in 2013. The publication, citing the Post magazine, reports that the woman was in a difficult situation in the past. But after the shiftthe name revealed itself in business. She is also known as a defender of the people of Somalia and for negotiating with Somali terrorists and pirates. WP does not rule out that Edwards ‘ position is due to connections among high-ranking people from Somalia. In addition, Edwards and her company are suspected of real estate fraud.
