Deptrans clarified that last week the dynamics of departure “was multidirectional”. On Tuesday, September 20, an increase of 8% was recorded at international airports, and on Wednesday, when President Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization, there was a drop of 2%, the department said. On Thursday, September 22, an increase of 4% was recorded, on Friday it reached 12% (3.9 thousand people).
As noted in deptrans, the changes “are not significant: these are typical seasonal fluctuations in passenger traffic”.
The day before, Sheremetyevo also stated that there were no large concentrations of passengers for departure to the Russian regions, registration and inspection on international flights were also carried out in standard mode. The press service clarified that “with the simultaneous arrival of a large number of people, temporary congestion is possible due to the need for inspection at the entrance to the terminal.”

The channel “Rupost” in the caption to the video from the scene indicated that the queues begin on the street.
