President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a visit to the 2nd city children’s clinical hospital in Minsk, said that he was ” fed “with antibodies to coronavirus infection in the “red zones” where infected patients are kept. The video, in which he communicates with doctors, was published by the Telegram channel “Pool of the first”, close to the head of state.

Lukashenko asked the hospital staff if they had been ill with COVID-19 and had been vaccinated, and also asked what level of antibodies they had in their body. “I had 25 a month ago. But I was fueled by being in the “red zones”, the president said.

As BelTA notes, Lukashenko visited several departments of the medical institution, the intensive care unit, the school of diabetes and the isotope laboratory, and also talked with some patients. During a conversation with a sick child, he called himself “glucose for adults” and promised to cure the boy when he grows up: “I will be your glucose. You don’t mind? Think you still have time.”

During a visit to the hospital, Lukashenko also said that in Belarus there is no need to introduce mandatory vaccination against COVID-19, as it was done in some regions of Russia. “God forbid. If such a situation arises, such a principle will certainly be introduced. Thank God, there is no such need yet, ” he said.

In July last year, Lukashenko said that he had been ill with COVID-19.According to the president, he suffered the infection on his feet, without symptoms, and learned about the disease from doctors. Later, he admitted that the coronavirus was “planted” on him. The Head of State also announced his readiness to donate blood plasma with antibodies, so that all the opposition members would receive a drop of blood.

In December, Lukashenko said that he was not going to be vaccinated against the coronavirus: “Immunity is developed, so it will be easier”. Three months later, he confirmed that he did not intend to be vaccinated, as, according to him, a blood test showed the presence of sufficient antibodies after the disease. The President added that he had never been vaccinated against the flu before.
